Spectacular late 17th century mansion, garden and deer park.

The house was furnished in the Dutch style and still has many of its original contents, including fine textiles, paintings anf items of blue and white Delft-ware, reflecting the contemporary taste for Dutch fashions. The Victorian domestic rooms are open to the public and include the kitchen, larder, bakehouse, dairy and tenants hall.

Dyrham was the main setting for the exterior of Darlington Hall, in the film ‘Remains of the Day’. For details of the summer events programme contact the Box Office on 01985 843601.
